Artist Study – Pablo Picasso

A few months ago, we look into the works of Pablo Picasso. With the Pablo Picasso books we have on hand, we did some practice!

Here, we’re doing Sylvette, the girl with a ponytail :)

Then we tried a cubist portrait.  The Dad is the model here :)

  1. How did you do the Picasso art with Maverick? Did you paint the lines for him? This month is Picasso and I'm having hard time thinking of something simple for my 2.5 to 4 kiddos. I'm doing line painting (dove) but need a couple of simple ones to make with them.

    1. Hi Pia... I just draw the image using a pencil and he did paint the line all by himself. He chose the colors too :) You might want to try cutting pictures of faces in a magazine and putting it all up together for cubism.
